Error Example:Error reading from entity 'Source': ERROR [IM002] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified. Cause:This error can occur if the driver that was being used by the connection string or DSN was uninstalled. It can also happen when DSN was created as User DSN and not a System DSN. This means that associated service accounts won't be able to see it and use it. For other ODBC provider-related errors, see Provider Issues (General). Resolution/Workaround:You should check and confirm the ODBC driver is properly installed and that it matches the bit architecture of the tool being used. The Cloud Connector natively runs in 64-bit mode but can be set to 32-bit to accommodate 32-bit drivers. The driver should match the mode commonly used. The user should also make sure the DNS created is a System DSN and is in the correct bit version of the ODBC Manager. |
