The list-name and view could not be recognized in the URL

Error Example:

Verification failed: Error reading from entity '<dataEntity>': The connection string is invalid: The list-name and view could not be recognized in the URL '<site>'. Please specify the full URL including the list-name and view-page or provide a 'List'-setting in the connection string.

Cause:

Generally caused by a malformed connection string where the URL is incomplete and the List and/or view are not defined.

Resolution/Workaround:

Please double-check that your URL and List names are correctly spelled and point to the right location on the SharePoint site.
